Leaks indicate GTA 6 will expand the wanted system to six stars, with the top tier triggering a full tactical operation — special forces, drones, cross-unit coordination — rather than GTA V's military response. Police also conduct investigations and cordon off crime scenes at lower stars. Not to be confused with the long-running GTA V "hidden sixth star" myth.
