Take-Two registered eight Leonida parody domains in May 2025

A 2025 domain-registration trail reported by dataminer Tez2 is a plausible lead about possible in-game parody websites, but domain ownership and re-registration do not prove that every address appears in the finished game.

What the signal says

On 8 September 2025, dataminer Tez2 reported eight domains registered on 27 May 2025 under Take-Two nameservers, including what-up.app, RydeMe, MyBoyHasACreepyCornDog and leonidagov.org. Tez2 later reported that Take-Two / Rockstar had re-registered the domains through DNStination Inc. / MarkMonitor, which made the ownership trail harder to inspect. The registration trail is a credible reason to track the theory, but it is not proof that every domain will appear in the finished game or that a specific feature is confirmed.

The wording is intentionally narrower than a confirmed announcement: a source, screenshot or community reading can explain why a rumor exists without proving the final game will include it.

How to read the status

The record stays open. Look for a direct publisher statement or a stronger primary source before treating it as part of GTA 6’s confirmed feature, story or release information.

The Compass does not host leaked files, suspicious downloads or copied footage. When this topic changes, the status and review date can change with it.
