What properties unlock

Rockstar describes properties as spaces that can unlock additional gameplay, support businesses and provide places to hang out. Properties with private accommodation can also be selected as Free Mode spawn points.

Apartments, garages and the home layer

Apartments are the clearest home base in the official guide. Dynasty 8 offers low-, mid- and high-end apartments across Los Santos and Blaine County, with personal vehicle storage; high-end apartments also provide a Heist Planning Room.

Business properties are operating hubs

Offices, bunkers, hangars, nightclubs, clubhouses, arcades, Auto Shops and Agencies are best read as activity hubs. Their exact profitability, prices and upgrade paths change with the live game and should be checked on Rockstar’s current guide.

Property types at a glance

GTA VI outlook: evidence, not a catalogue

GTABase’s current GTA VI page records three safehouse sightings: Starlet Motel in Port Gellhorn, a Leonida Keys safehouse linked to Jason, and a Bayside safehouse likely associated with Lucia. It also lists Paradise Garage as an Ultimate Edition garage and Shore Court Garage as a pre-order bonus. GTABase reports that story safehouses are expected to unlock through progression rather than purchase, while garages may be purchased separately; businesses and passive-income systems remain unknown. Compared with GTA Online’s property network, the cautious read is a story-led home layer plus expandable vehicle storage—not a confirmed GTA Online-style portfolio. That comparison is editorial inference, not a Rockstar announcement.
